To all of Colorado DeMolay,
More than six years ago, I received a
phone call that has since refined, bet-
tered and improved my life ever since. If
you guessed that phone call was about
DeMolay, you’d be right! To DeMolay, I
owe a lot of my confidence and success. I
could not imagine my life without it!
As much as I might say about how I’ve
grown, I could not, in good conscience,
leave out the true sources of my devel-
opment– all of the spectacular gentle-
men I can call Dad; and all of the kind
women I can call Mom, especially my
own Mother who has watched over me
with unceasing care. I hope I may repay
the love and care that has been devoted
to me.
As for myself, I consider myself blessed to have come across what must be the
world’s best kept secret, a secret we should do our part in breaking. In DeMolay, I
have found not just friends, but family; a family that I know I will be able to rely on
until the end.
I look forward to the upcoming term, as I have been elected to serve as your
Deputy State Master Councilor. I have great hopes for Colorado DeMolay, and I hope
I may see the very best of each of you blossom in time, my own person included.
Fraternally,
Seaghan A. Ennis
