To Colorado DeMolay

Thank you for such a wonderful year! You all individually made this year such a great time; and
from event to event, your enthusiasm and pride of DeMolay have made Colorado DeMolay
what it is today.

When I found out I was elected as your State Sweetheart, I was ecstatic! I couldn’t believe that
the young men of Colorado would vote me in. And I thank you all for giving me the opportunity
to represent you for the 2018-2019 year. It truly has been one worth remembering.

This year has made me a more confident and outgoing person. Without serving this year, I
don’t think I would have been who I am now.

My parents have helped me throughout this year. Keeping my schedule intact, running me
to every event, making sure I get all mu work in on time, helping me plan, and most importantly
keeping me sane and stress-free. I would also like to thank Mom Sellars for all the help she has
given me throughout the year. Also helping me stay on schedule, making sure I’m at every event
I need to be, making me get my work in on time, helping me plan, and just being there for me
when I needed her.

It has amazed me how much effort the young men have put in into making Colorado DeMolay
grow, and I do hope that the enthusiasm and grit persists for years to come.

Again, thank you all for allowing me to be your State Sweetheart for the 2018-2019 year.
