Inter-house Rangoli Competition
The students of The Cambrian School
Saadatganj participated enthusias-
tically in Inter House Rangoli Com-
petition organised on the occasion of
Deepawali on October 21, 2022. Th e
theme of the competition was ‘Cele-
brating the Festival of Lights’. Rangoli
is an ancient art and timeless tradi-
tion that is followed all over India.
The word \’Rangoli\’ is said to have
been derived from the words \’rang\’
and \’aavalli\’ which refers to a row of
colours.
Students displayed their best creativ-
ity in designing Rangolies on various
themes which added the perfect set-
ting to the festivity.
Though all the Rangolies made by
the students were really attractive &
artistic but as it was an Inter-House
competition all the artwork of the
students were judged on the basis of
Cleanliness, Presentation, Creativity,
Color Combination and Symmetry.
1st position - Stanford house
2nd Position- Cambridge house
3rd Position- Oxford house
4th position- Harvard house
All the teams put in their best eff orts
and after the competition the school
premises was sparkling with such
beautiful use of colors and designs
which added to the festive galore.
Organising such events helps students
to remain in close touch with their
culture. This Rangoli making compe-
tition motivated the students to per-
form and outshine in their creative
skills and most important, work as a
team to bring laurels to their house.
The glimpses of today’s activity are
attached.
