Gerunds are formed by adding ‘ing’ to verbs. A gerund can be the
subject of the sentence, as well as the direct or indirect object. Gerunds are
used after certain verbs and after prepositions.
Speaking English is difficult for me.
Reading books is my hobby.
Driving a car can be fun.
I like singing and dancing.
He hates cooking.
We love going out to concerts.
I am interested in learning English.
He is fond of playing chess.
He left without saying a word.
