Method 2.: Break the spell

Find out if your platonic love is damaging your life,
daydreaming and fantasizing is fine, but your fantasy
shouldn't overcome and replace your real life. If you
find yourself that you cannot or do not want to take
situations in your life, if you avoid social situations or a real
relationship, because it is different from your fantasy, then
your love has gone too far, then it is time to return to
relay, or at least try. In case you can't resist, and start
falling into depression because of a given situation, you
should consider contacting an expert about therapy to help
you get back to reality, every story has to come to an end
            in some time.

You must remember that your love is imaginary,
repeat it to yourself by the time you're sure of it. Try
to look for flaws and deficiencies of your character, if
there are none, it is just another indication that your
character as well as your love is unreal. Sometimes it
helps when other people, family and friends point to it,
their story will make you believe of the unreality of your
character more real and easier for you to accept. It'll help
you figure out what is real and what is fiction.

Recognize stereotyping, especially when it comes to
visual fiction. Many characters showing stereotypes of
the real people, one of the better ways to get over
your character is to remember that it's just a depiction of
            reality.

Remember that real people aren't necessarily perfect,
            romantic, funny or not complicated.
