Teeth

Brushing your puppy’s teeth between the ages of eight and sixteen weeks is critical. Puppies start
losing their “baby” teeth between four and six months of age. The new, permanent, adult teeth
will push out the “baby” teeth. When your puppy begins to lose their teeth, they may have a foul
breath & you may notice blood on any hard items they chew on. You can purchase finger
toothbrushes & toothpaste formulated for dogs. It’s flavoured so dogs love the taste. Start with a
little dab of toothpaste on your finger and let your puppy taste it. Then slip your finger under
their upper lip and rub the toothpaste on its teeth. When you are finished, let your puppy have a
               food treat.

Using 1 tablespoon of pink Himalayan Sea salt and baking soda, mix it together with toothpaste.
I recommend you brush your dog with this mixture, it is highly beneficial in preventing plaque
               build-up based on personal experience

It is equally important to provide your puppy with things to chew on to assist in the cleaning the
molars & premolars & to also ensure they don’t end up chewing up all your favourite shoes!
Puppies love to play, and various toys can both bring joy and help with the growing teeth. Toys
where they have to play around to find the treat inside will help them keep them busy &
               improves brain functionality.

Regular vet checks are a must also, just to make sure your puppy is always healthy.

               • Please book in a general vet check first week of receiving your pups.
               • A little extra effort now will save you a lot of expense in the future.

                                                    Puppy training

Although we do our best to potty train the pups before we hand them over to you, they still
               need ongoing training from you.

               - Invest in puppy pee mats & also the puppy grass pee trays they will help you train your
puppy till they’re old enough to go outside by themselves & are properly trained.
               - Your local pet store should also have these grass trays or Kmart. It also helps when teaching
them to go outside it mimics grass, so they learn in future grass means toilet & they’re also
                   super easy to clean.
               - We highly recommend
                  - Natures miracle house breaking spray: It is specially formulated to help train dogs to
relieve themselves where you want them to. With pheromonal scents that only your dog can
sense it can act as a signal telling dogs it's okay to "go" on the spot you have sprayed
