CityLine
April-June 2017: Park Life
Proud Past, Bright Future
by Sonny Culbreth, Interim City Manager, Community and Recreation Services Director
The theme of this edition of our CityLine is “Park Life.” Mayor Schoaf ’s article says it all: Litchfield
Park is a special place that can’t really be explained to anyone. They simply have to experience it.
This issue recaps the once in a lifetime commemorative event we recently celebrated and spotlights
one of our community’s true “heroes.” Many of the award-winning events and activities are in
full swing. Mark your calendars and plan to experience “Park Life”. As always, I encourage you
to turn the pages of this issue to enjoy the interesting and informative articles our writing Staff
have thoughtfully submitted. If you have questions concerning items in this issue, please feel free
to contact me at 623-935-5033 or sculbreth@litchfield-park.org. I’ll be happy to speak with you.
