and Partnerships

In this era of statewide and national teacher shortages, it seems
downright trendy to focus on teacher appreciation. School districts
near and far are battling to attract and retain the industry’s best
and brightest. However, we have learned a thing or two in our one
hundred years of providing educational excellence in Litchfield
Park and its neighboring communities. We know with certainty
that recognizing teacher and staff excellence is more than a fad, it’s
a business and moral imperative. Prioritizing people who commit
themselves to the care and development of children is an effective
strategy to increase employee satisfaction and retention, all of
which goes hand in hand with the social and academic success
of students.

Litchfield Elementary School District Educational Foundation
PRIDE Awards are a longstanding tradition in our community.
This is a special opportunity to honor the teacher/staff of the year
at each of our fifteen schools and in our business departments.
Teacher and staff recognition is such an important part of our
school culture that the Litchfield Elementary School District
Educational Foundation has identified protecting the PRIDE
Awards as its number one priority.

Our community can demonstrate support of teacher and staff
excellence by investing in the Foundation’s Centennial Way
Campaign. Funds raised will culminate in an endowment to fund
the prestigious PRIDE Awards in perpetuity. Centennial Way
Legacy Bricks will memorialize our community’s commitment to
education and our gratitude for the remarkable professionalism and
commitment of Litchfield Elementary School District’s teachers and
staff. Legacy Brick pricing begins at $100. All orders are due August
