The Book of Wisdom
What has made him revel in his knowledge? He delights in the wisdom of his
beauty; he delights in that which his sons’ engineers. He marvels at the looks of his
seedlings and puff his mind up with cheer. I have done this, he boasts. I have made
greatness shine in the eyes of the worthless. They crawl before me when they need
help. They call on me like I am God. Therefore, they perceive me as god. I
examine what made him puffed up and boastful and I discovered he pays no
attention to God’s edicts for they mean nothing to him or his seedlings. Then I said
the man who does not take heed to the edicts of the Almighty: rise up as a fool.
And will commit what does not make sense to those who follow God. But to them
who seek his knowledge are taken away by his lies for he does not know nor
believe God words.
The fool heaps misfortune suddenly upon himself for refusing to seek the Lord.
The man who hates knowledge will be seen as a great man in the eyes of his own
kind and those desperate for his worth. Their minds are fixed on foolishness as all
they do is foolishness. Pay no attention to them who boast and brag for death
interrupts their foolishness. God has spoken I give life. But none understand what

not know him and his goodness. They prescribe lies about him for naught.
They imagine what he means and who he is. They look at his representatives and
chastise the almighty. Their minds have no concept of his holiness. The angels
assembled before God and declare their interest in disrupting the fools. But the
Lord would not let us entertain the people. For that is all it would be. A battle of
strength and vain excitement that would not transform anybody. They would seek
up and down for one to defeat the holy ones and not bow to God. All fighting does
is infuriate the loser just look at Israel. He believes he is a god. A person who seeks
to be viewed and seen more than they are is an Idol. He has made known to them
they are idols but none care until he removes their strength.
His family has brought him shame his ideas have bankrupt him. They have sought
wealth with their strength to be esteemed and adorn. None of their efforts proved
worth anything. For the dollar sinks, and his homes do the same. The storms
unearth his safety and the whole nation cannot redeem themselves. I have looked
