BUSINESS COMPLEX LOST TO FIRE
May 18, 1989
At 5:30 pm, 35 Fire Fighters and 8 trucks responded to a raging fire,
whipped by wind and destroying an entire business complex on Kirschner Road.
Fire Fighters battled for nearly two hours to contain the flames.
The building complex housed Buckerfield’s, Ecco Heating Products, a carpet centre,
Princess Auto, Mom & I Restaurant, Vandim Computer Management Group,
and Fairfield Animal Hospital.
