WHAT IS UVC GERMICIDAL LIGHT?
UVC wavelengths are between 250 and 280 nanometers, making them germicidal – meaning
they are capable of inactivating microorganisms, such as bacteria, viruses and protozoa.
The high energy from short wavelength UVC light damages the DNA of bacteria and viruses thereby
preventing replication and ability to infect.
