“Since the charitable education

program was officially established
in 1997, the Chicago Football

Classic Scholarship Fund, Inc.,

has demonstrated an outstanding
commitment to education equality,

becoming one of the city’s most

effective scholarship organizations.

How? By raising and awarding over
$3 million in financial assistance

during the past two decades for

local students seeking to attend one
of the nation’s Historically Black

Colleges and Universities (HBCUs).

Thanks to the dynamic mission Danny Davis
of the Chicago Football Classic Representative

Scholarship Fund, Inc., many highly United States of America

motivated and underrepresented
students, who otherwise might

not have the financial means and

other critical support, became able

to successfully matriculate into
postsecondary education, eventually

realizing their dream of becoming

college graduates.”
