Mount Rainier National Park

On that same journey that took in the Grand Tetons we also visited Mount Rainier National Park.
Mount Rainier is an active volcano and at 14,410 feet above sea level it is truly an impressive sight. If
it blows it will make the eruption of Mount St Helens eruption in 1980 seems like a fizzer.
We began our walk at the appropriately named Paradise, a honeypot for tourists, but quickly
disappeared into the countryside and spent the rest of the day in rain; rain that soon turned into
sago snow.
