Dear Students, Parents, Community Members and Stakeholders
As we reflect on yet another successful year at Balata College, I am filled with pride at all
we have accomplished together. This year has been one of tremendous growth,
resilience, and achievement. Our students have excelled in academic and co curricular
activities, demonstrating that our school is not just a place of academic learning but a
vibrant hub of holistic development.
Our students continued to strive to raise the bar with outstanding performances in
examinations and competitions. Various programmes enhanced student engagement in
activities and fostered innovative thinking and everyone is acknowledged for their
positive contributions.
Extracurricular activities were a highlight this year, with our students winning silver in the
Senior Boys High Jump in the National Finals and representing Fiji at the South Pacific
Mini Games in Palau. The various competitions for Department Weeks and other school
programmes provided the opportunity for students to explore their passions and talents.
A heartfelt appreciation to our staff, students, parents, and stakeholders for their
unwavering support and dedication. Together, we are working towards shaping a bright
future for our school and the local community at large.
