Sixty five years of “Good Works” from Broward County Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. (BCAC-DST) and
Delta Education and Life Development Foundation, Inc. (DELDF), its fundraising arm provided a view of our reality. The Virtual
Telethon paralleled that of our chartering members’ vision back in 1955 -- volunteerism combined with unselfish commitments
to embrace, serve and support the Broward County community.
This fun-filled 8-hour, inspiring day of recognition, remembrance, entertainment and philanthropy was hosted by three
Devastating Delta Divas; Tamara Gant, Geneva Warner and Terri Crook, joined by Brian Johnson of Omega Psi Phi Frater-
nity, Inc. This day delivered information displaying our organizations mission to public service and provided financial sup-
port for our excellent program initiatives.
The 5-Point Programmatic Thrust of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc., was strategically arranged throughout the day, high-
lighting our volunteerism and engagements, with unyielding contributions to the youth and Broward County community
at-large. Our National President and CEO, Beverly E. Smith, South Regional Director, Deidra K. Diaz, Southern Regional
Representation, Kyrsten Sheffield, Honorary Member, Paula Madison, Congresswoman, Val Demings, and Presidents of
North Broward County and South Broward Alumnae Chapters joined us with their congratulatory remarks. Our beautiful
Charter Member, Soror Dorothy S. Miller, amazing and awesome sorors, HBCU Presidents, community partners, pastors,
Greek organizations, politicians, dignitaries, local and national celebrity entertainment. They were all there, thank you!
Soror Paula Madison spoke candidly about Economic Development. Our BCAC-DST Sorors in the medical field spoke about
“Racial Inequities in Healthcare”, and we were inspired by the message from Congresswoman Val Demmings. The enter-
tainment for the day was provided by Ian Mann, Katrina Sapp-Holder, Michele’le, April RaQuel, Old Skool Gang and How-
ard Hewett. The grand finale featuring our Dazzling Diamond Debutantes were beautifully presented.

Our 65 Celebration Commemorative Masterpiece, designed by Soror Karen Buster of Baltimore, Maryland captivated the
essence of the fourteen (14) gifted Charter Members of Epsilon Nu Sigma, now proudly, BCAC-DST. (see page 8)
This event generated $80,000 in revenue from 208 sponsors and donors and 3446 views through Facebook, Zoom and
