REPORT -DESH APNAYEN ACTIZENS' CLUB
Desh Apnayen is a movement that aims to build an accountable citizenry and society around three important
themes: citizenship education, volunteerism and neighbourhood.
This is a not-for-profit organization which creates social impact and community development. Its initiative
inspires and educates the youth about the benefits of citizenship education and how to be conscious and active
by running long term and short term programmes at leading schools and colleges.
Desh Apnayen is focused on creating a sense of ownership for the country in the society and particularly in the
youth and inspiring them to take part as owners in our civic and citizenship education programmes. Desh
Apnayens school programmes and college programmes are participative, proactive and help individuals
understand the concept of citizenship in India and play their part in democracy better.Desh Apnayen engages
with the Indian youth in a unique way that the students imbibe the WILL (inspiration) and develop the SKILLS
(knowledge) to emerge as contributing citizens.
The following Activities were conducted during August 2020 to January 2021
There are 36 students from Grades VI to XI and 2 Teachers were enrolled for Memebership during the
academic year 2020-2021.There were 10 activities conducted so far and around 40 students participated in
various ACTIZEN's Club activity.
