LOTE FRENCH

The focus of our Life Skills LOTE French program is to provide opportunities for our students to experience a range of activities that will develop an awareness and understanding of a language and culture different from their own. In 2014 students have been engaged in a variety of topics covering language and culture in France as well as other French speaking nations including Madagascar and Switzerland. We’ve studied French literature, movies, music, food, schools and people. Students have explored how France and other nations celebrate their festivals as well as how they celebrate Easter and Christmas. To finish off the year, students in Year 8 visited a French restaurant to appreciate the fine art of French cuisine – délicieux!
