Premiers for 2017-18.
What a way for the boys to finish their junior years in cricket. Congratulations boys.
As in previous years, with a mix of old and new faces the team took time to find its rhythm; settling down as the season progressed. Their confidence grew steadily, matched by performances and the team performing as a unit to make it 4 semi-finals or more in a row. An achievement that has not been matched by other teams in this age group. Runners up 2 years ago. Rain played spoil sport in the semis last year. This year though was different. It was our time. This achievement and reward could not have come to a better bunch of talented and great young men.
Cricket is a team sport and it is the team that either wins or loses. However, it is also the individuals that make the team. Here is the list of things that stood out this season:
