Stage 2 – Litchfield
What a season! The team had many Girls return from the previous season, some familiar faces were Amy, Lorelei, Anushka, Khushi, Holly, Isha, Asmii and Trisha, it was great to see them reconnect after a few months apart. We had a few newcomers join the team at the start of the season, and quite quickly Keya & Diya settled in and helped create an exciting dynamic amongst the girls.]
Team Litchfield girls were still getting to know each other but found their groove early on with a win on our first match! Almost halfway through the season we had two more girls join our team. Both Shruti & Reya, proved to be a real asset to our side. The whole team bonded well, supported each other, and gave it their all. There were exceptional displays of bowling and ball smacking batting. Confidence grew and so did their running between wickets; taking opportunities to put the opposition’s fielding to the test, resulted in many extra runs for our team. Some very close matches were played, with a couple of games won / lost on the last ball of the match! These matches certainly kept the crowd on their toes.
Congratulations to all the girls who played. It was a very enjoyable season of cricket. May your love for the game continue!
Khushi – A hard working player who improved throughout the season. Her bowling improved so much this season.
Lorelei – Her wicket keeping skills saved many runs this season. She was also our 2nd highest run scorer. A loyal and encouraging team player.
Amy – All round improvement this season with some great fielding. Very chatty and loves to have fun! Encourages the girls and gives it her all.

Diya – Her quiet, reserved nature often fooled the opposition. Her bowling was very good, and she showed so much improvement throughout the season.
Keya – When she hits you know the ball will find the boundary – our top run scorer for the season. She loves to trick you with her great spin bowling skills too.
