Setting up PSV for Estimates using the Graphtec CE 7000 Cutter
The steps below show the configuration setting to set up the cutting charges in PSV so that it can be easily applied to an estimate.
Fully Costed Method
This approach although not recommended does provide the Center that has limited PSV setup with a quick and simple method to add a fully costed charge definition into their PSV. The charge includes all costs associated with producing a pre-cut label in Centre using the Graphtec CE7000. It includes stock, print and cutting. It is based on the following assumption:
• All costs are based on 1000 SRA3 label sheets a month
• Cut rate at 60 SRA3 sheets an hour
• Copy Charge $0.05 + overhead $0.06 = $0.11
• Overhead Operations $0.04
• Cutting Charge based on 1000 SRA3 sheets per month $0.21
• Labour for cutting (10 mins per hour @ $0.49c/min) $0.08
• Stock cost per SRA3 sheet Gloss $0.30
• Total Cost per SRA3 sheet printed and kiss cut = $0.74
• Mark-up in this instance has been set at 3 x total cost
Other costs that need to be added into a quote includes artwork and packaging. (Note should there be significant changes in the input costs such as stock the Centre will need to adjust their cost basis).
