Welcome to our Table
Makayla Mouse and her special meal
Makayla Mouse lived at the edge of the lavender patch. Every day she would stand at her tiny gate and greet everyone who would pass by. She began to notice not everyone was welcoming to some of the mice who worked in the gardens or who did all the hard work around the tiny village.
“I know what I’ll do,” she thought. “I’ll invite them all to my place for a special meal. Everyone will be welcome.” She set about writing her invitations and sent them off to everyone she could think of. The little mice of the village were thrilled to get such a pretty invitation, as Makayla used her
As the day approached, Makayla Mouse set her round table as she wished that everyone would
