Bread and Wine (Meal)
Words:
A Reading from Matthew’s Gospel:
While they were eating,
Jesus took a piece of bread,
Gave a prayer of thanks,
Broke it,
Gave it to his disciples.
Take and eat. This is my body.
He took the cup,
Gave thanks to God.
He gave it to them.
Drink it, all of you. This is my blood which will be poured out for you.
