As the sun sets on a thrilling and rewarding season, it's time to reflect on the incredible journey of our Under-13 Green team. This team has shown not just skill and determination, but true character, camaraderie, and sportsmanship. Each player contributed something unique, helping to shape a season to remember.
Neelan stood tall as our fierce spearhead with the ball — a relentless competitor who never backed down, regardless of the situation. His energy and fire set the tone for our bowling attack and inspired those around him to raise their game.
Nakiah was the calm in the storm — technically outstanding and cool under pressure. Whether with bat or ball, his focus and composure were a model for others, and he anchored our team in many key moments.
Jay was always hungry for runs. His aggressive intent and ability to shift momentum made him a key weapon at the crease.
Tom L showed real maturity during the season, both in his approach to the game and in his support for his teammates, which really lifted his run scoring and wickets for the season.
Tom H brought enthusiasm and a love of sport that lifted the whole group. Always willing, always involved, Tom’s attitude embodied the spirit of junior cricket.
James brought that all-important X factor. Whether it was a stunning catch, an unexpected spell of bowling, or a burst of runs, he was a game-changer when we needed one.
Ewan gave us the six of the season — a towering hit that not only cleared the ropes but lifted the whole team. A moment to remember!
Andrew really grew in his discipline and maturity this season, always competitive and encouraging his team, with tidy work and thoughtful cricket. A player who let his actions speak volumes.
Matt made massive strides this season, becoming a fearsome bowler who intimidated opposition batters. His progress was remarkable, and his hard work was evident every time he stepped up to bowl.
Will brought poise and elegance to the batting line-up, often playing with a calm head and a straight bat. His temperament helped us build partnerships and steady the ship when needed.
Carter impressed everyone with his sheer determination and growth over the season. Every game saw him push harder, learn more, and give everything for the team.
Kaiven displayed patience and a classic approach in accumulating his runs — a steady hand at the crease who understood the value of time and innings-building in junior cricket.
