Each team nominated one player to receive the “Spirit of Cricket” award. Congratulations girls – we are so proud of you! We also chose a team to be the winners of the perpetual Spirit of Cricket Cup trophy – and congratulations goes to the Stage 2 Team Lanning
Team Lanning is a relatively new team consisting of players starting their cricketing journey and few established players.
During the season the team have developed a strong bond, experienced players have taken the mentorship role for the new and budding players to help them improve with their batting, bowling, and fielding skill set. This team reached finals but narrowly missing out against Lane Cove.
Thank you coach Bill and Manager Dipesh for coaching and helping the girls through the season. Your efforts are well appreciated.
Once again, the club held a fund-raising event for Movember, with the whole Club invited to don some moustaches to raise awareness for Men’s Health.
