President’s Award
The President’s Award winner this season is another shared result as there two outstanding volunteers who are both worthy recipients:
Craig Hutchinson
Craig led the end to end transition to our new Club playing shirts from design, engagement with Kingsgrove Sports and the operational logistics of a Club-wide distribution that was a seamless implementation. He has also taken on-board Phase 2 that involves new training shirts and Club shorts.
Christina Phillip
Christina is one of those quiet achievers who just keeps delivering behind the scenes without any fanfare. Christina played Juniors for us and then coached our Junior Girls players continuously for the last 10 years. Her contribution this year has been no different to previous years – the difference being that this unwavering contribution is now being recognised.

A final thought
While we have had a very good season, the future is not without challenges. The most pressing is the cost of living that affects registrations. The high cost of housing is also pronounced in our catchment that is making it increasingly difficult for young families to get a foothold.
Off-setting this, to a degree, is the new high-rise development around the Metro stations that will see population growth, albeit with an unknown demographic.
