Ella Dalziel – Ella’s transformation into our most improved bowler was a testament to her dedication and willingness to listen and learn. Opening the bowling many times, she showed courage and determination to take on challenging roles. Ella’s positive attitude towards feedback and challenges makes her a promising player who can become a key strike bowler.
Hannah Croaker – Hannah’s steely determination as an opening bowler created pressure for opposing batters and contributed to the team’s competitive edge. Her evolving bowling skills showed promising progress, and her focused approach during matches was inspiring. Hannah’s competitive nature, combined with her quick and accurate bowling, saw her have a very strong season.
Lyla May Boyle – Lyla’s debut season was outstanding, earning her the title of most improved player. Her all-round contributions, including opening the batting and taking key wickets such as a bowled dismissal in the final, showed her versatility and potential. As she gains more experience, refining her batting and bowling techniques will see her grow considerably. Lyla’s enthusiasm and willingness to learn make her a joy to coach, and with continued support, she is poised to become a core player for the team in the coming years.
Maahnoor Bajwa – Maahnoor’s left-arm leg spin bowling was a highlight of the season, earning her the team’s bowling award. She also played some great innings with the bat, proving herself a strong all-rounder who significantly contributed to the team’s success. Her knack for taking wickets and making key catches demonstrated sharp cricketing instincts. Maahnoor’s reliability in the field adds great value, and encouraging her to take on more leadership roles will further build her confidence and communication skills. Her calm presence under pressure remains a great asset as she continues to develop.
Prisha Joshi – Prisha’s impressive all-round skills with both bat and ball were central to the team’s success this season. Her ability to perform under pressure and contribute crucial runs and wickets showed her growing maturity as a player. Beyond statistics, Prisha’s leadership in rallying the team spirit, particularly through the team chant, demonstrated her natural ability to inspire and unify her teammates. Her soft voice may be gentle, but her influence on the field is powerful—she has the potential to develop into a leading team captain in the future.
Siann Pinto – Siann’s infectious enthusiasm and unwavering commitment made her a true team player who brought energy and positivity to every match and training session. Her sharp fielding and lively presence on the field ensured no ball went past her, significantly strengthening the team’s defence. As co-captain during the finals, Siann led by example with her consistent dedication, setting a high standard through her attendance and effort at training. Throughout the season, her dependable performances with both bat and ball demonstrated her all-round value to the team, shining through even in challenging moments. Siann’s outstanding team spirit was rightly recognised with the team player award, and her continued growth in leadership promises to make her an even more influential cricketer on and off the field.
Trisha Yadav – As one of our captains and our most experienced player, Trisha’s excellent batting technique and strategic acumen stood out throughout the season. Winning our overall batting award together with the prestigious ‘Lisa Sthalekar Award’ for Junior Girls Player of the Year was a well- deserved recognition of her hard work and talent. Trisha’s role as wicketkeeper and on-field strategist helped the team stay organised and focused. Trisha’s influence extended well beyond her personal contributions; she was also a great mentor to younger players, sharing her game knowledge and
