A large crowd had followed Jesus into the hillsides. Some had seen him work miracles and they were hoping for more.
Miracles, miracles, give us a miracle, Jesus.
Jesus had spent the day preaching, listening and healing the sick. As the hour became late, Jesus grew concerned at the large crowds that had gathered around him.
Send them home, Jesus. It is getting late and we have no food to feed such a large gathering.
No food anywhere. We’ll all starve!
Food glorious food, give us food!
You’ve been in the hot sun too long Master. We have no food. What can we possibly do to help?
Food glorious food, give us food!
Come on disciples, put your thinking hats on! We’re starving.
Can’t you work a miracle Jesus?
I need your help to work a miracle.
Not enough, not enough!
Okay, disciples sit the people down on the grass.
Food glorious food, give us food!
I’ll share what I have with everyone Jesus.
Good lad. I’ll just bless this food. Disciples, pass this around. Jesus said a special grace and they all ate until they were full. More than enough, more than enough!
The disciples collected twelve baskets of leftovers.
How did you do it, Master?
I am the bread of life. Believe in me and have everlasting life.
