         What is the writing about?
What type of writing is it?
Who might this have been written for?
    3.6.2
Psalm 23 The Lord is My Shepherd
You, Lord are my Shepherd.
I will never be in need.

You lead me to streams of peaceful water, and you refresh my life.
You are true to your name and you lead me along the right paths.
I may walk through the valleys as dark as death but I wont be afraid. You are with me and your shepherd’s rod makes me feel safe.
You treat me to a feast while my enemies watch.

Your kindness and love will always be with me each day of my life, and I will live forever in your house, Lord.
Analysing a Bible story
Who wrote these stories and why did they write them?
The stories of the Bible were written by many different people and groups of people. The purpose of their writing depends on the times and place they were part of, but they all have one thing in common. All these authors were part of God’s plan to be made known to us. These authors cooperated with God to bring the Word of God to us, so that we may know our creator better and understand how the divine plan involves us. Here are some examples from the references you have been studying.
Prayer
We rejoice and thank you God for the wonderful stories of the Bible We love to listen to your Word because it tells of your love for us. Jesus, so much of the Bible is about you,
which is great because we wish to know you better.
Help us Holy Spirit, to understand all that is revealed in the stories of the Bible. Amen
