Dr Anita Bonic Orthodontist
Anita grew up in Sydney and completed her Bachelor of Dental Surgery at the University of Sydney, graduating with First Class Honours in 1998.
Following graduation, Anita worked as a general dentist in a south- western Sydney dental practice,
at a specialist orthodontic practice in southern Sydney, and also at a practice in Dubbo, NSW.
“My job is so enjoyable as every day we help create beautiful smiles. Since I
see my patients every 6-8 weeks I get to watch them grow up, hear about their accomplishments, and get to know their whole family.”
Her professional area of interest led her to pursue a career exclusively
in orthodontics, undertaking specialist training in Melbourne and completing a three-year Doctorate in Clinical Dentistry (Orthodontics) at the University of Melbourne in 2007.
Anita stayed in Victoria for
an additional two years after graduating, enjoying the Melbourne lifestyle and working in private practices in Melbourne and Geelong, before returning home and joining the Hills Orthodontics family in 2010.
In her free time Anita enjoys getting out in nature, travelling, trying new food and relaxing at home with a movie. Her husband, Marko, has also introduced her to the more rugged pursuits of camping and boating.

BDS (Hons), DCD, MRACDS (Orth), MOrth RCSEd
Recipient of the Australian Orthodontic Board Postgraduate Clinical Award for Victoria 2008.
Anita has a keen interest in continuing her professional development, participating in orthodontic seminars within Australia and internationally to keep up to date with the latest advances in orthodontic research and treatment standards.
She has been awarded membership of the Australian Dental Association, Royal College of Surgeons Edinburgh (UK), Royal Australasian College of Dental Surgeons, World Federation of Orthodontists, Australian Society of Orthodontists, and donates her time to the Give a SmileTM charity.
