Never Give Up On Your Dreams

Well, my name is Dottie Moriarty I’m Northern transplant from Canton Ohio. I never really got into bass fish-
ing until about 5 years ago when some friends of mine told me I needed to get a kayak and join a mostly men
kayak fishing group. So, I took my first leap and did just that.
The Watts Bar Kayak Fisherman Group is based in Kingston TN. With a lot of help from my friends they
shared techniques, baits and how to be patient...when things don’t go your way. My jump into the deep end has
paid off. I have learned so much over the past five years Kayak Bass fishing. My favorite bait to throw is a Spro
Little John crank bait with 15 lb test and a Dobyns Rod.
Like so many, I had never heard of the Lady Bass Anglers Association. But then, I came across the LBAA. I
knew at that moment, I would be adding being a Co-Angler to my bucket list, I hope to get that chance some-
day. Never give up on your dreams! Fish on!
