is a perfect small Shad imitator, the blade puts
out flash and thump.

The second is a Cordell CC Spoon! This is fished
basically the same as a tail spinner. It catches fish
and is the bomb on suspended fish!

With the advent of live scope fishing these two
baits are even easier! Don’t have live scope but
have DI or SI graph? Carry some marker buoys!
Idle around and find the schools of suspended
bass. As soon as they show up on screen throw
out a marker buoy. Mark 2-3 spots then set graph
to DI and use your live scope, go to marker, locate
the fish under you and then fish a spoon vertical-
ly!

Put a sharpie in your pocket! When you find the
right depth and hook a fish, mark your line. Once
you land your fish, now you can free spool your
spoon until mark shows up and you are at the
right depth! You will hang them up on occasion and break off! So, stock plenty in your tackle box. Both lures
are inexpensive!

Remember to yo yo a tail spinner and do some spoon feeding vertically to catch more deep-water bass!
