GESSNER-YORK SWEEP PALESTINE

As the Gary Yamamoto Custom Wagyu Beef and Inn
at BK Ranch Women’s Pro Bass Tour presented
by Joey Ridgle Septic & Sanitation moves into
this second event, Pro Angler Lynda Gessner
of Arkansas is looking for her second win of
the season. She had impressive bags during the
March event on Lake Palestine. She once again
showed that she is a force to be reckoned
with as she took a commanding lead on day
one bringing in a 18.49 lb. bag with a 6.79lb
     kicker fish. Gessner’s two-day total was 33.26
lbs. When asked about her strong start and
strong finish, Lynda modestly states that “you
have to keep plugging away and make the right
decisions at the right time and trust that luck
is also on your side.” Denise Sustaita, a Pro
Angler from Texas will be a strong contender
as she pushed Gessner from start to finish on
Palestine with her own impressive two-day
bag of 32.64 lbs. These are but two of the
outstanding women fishing the tour! Look for a hard fought battle and great competitive
     spirit!

In the co-angler division, Kentucky angler Secret
York is turning that division into an even bigger
battle. York moved into the co-angler division
after having had shoulder surgery. That only
slowed her a little at Palestine where her two-
day total for six fish was 23.48 lbs. Hot on her
heels was Lynette Doyle with 17.79 lbs. and a big
bass weighing in at 6.83 lbs. Doyle stated, “I
have a great support system and I go out every
time looking to do my best and to improve. I
always learn something from each pro I fish with
                                                      at an event.”.
