Using both positive and negative cuts
It is possible to be both frugal and inventive when using dies. By using both the positive and the negative die cuts, we can create two cards in one go! Here we’ve used the Bluebells 3D Decoupage die set.
Take two card blanks and cut a mat (a decorative layer) in patterned paper to fit the front of one. Decide where you would like the image to be and carefully tape the die in place before running through the machine. Keep the resulting die cut for the second card.
This novel way of creating twin cards is great for greetings cards to siblings or couples, and being able to create two cards by utilising one pass through a die cutting machine is the ultimate way to make the most of your materials!
