1. Trace or scan and print out the template. Cut the bag from blue cardstock. Score along
2. broken lines and cut along the solid lines.
Cut the Bag Mats from patterned cardstock and mat onto the front and back panels of the backpack. Punch two holes into the top and
3. bottom edge of the back panel.
Thread two lengths of ribbon through the top holes and into the bottom holes to create straps.
4. Secure the ribbon with glue or tape on the inside of the bag.

Make up the Pocket and stick the flap to the inside of the pocket.
Mat the made up pocket onto the front of the backpack.
Punch two holes into the top of the Bag Flap and thread a length of ribbon through the holes. Secure on the inside with glue or tape.
Attach the Bag Flap to the inside of the back panel.
Assemble the backpack by attaching the tab to the inside back panel and fold the bottom in to close. Finish by adding hook and loop pads to the underneath of the bag flaps.

Cut the Pocket from patterned cardstock and cut the Bag Flap and Pocket Flap from blue cardstock. Score along the broken lines.
