Drop / Add Policy
The first two weeks of classes, starting in September each year, are open for
students to drop or add them. It is meant to be a trial period for students and
families to see if a class is the right fit. **
Add: If the class you are interested in taking is open, students can join at any
time. Some classes may have an instructor approval requirement for late
enrollment.
Drop: After the two-week deadline is up, anyone deciding to drop a class will be
required to pay a $100 fee per student and per class. Failure to pay this fee will
limit participation in Quest activities until the fee is paid.
**The add policy may also apply to the first two weeks in January depending on
class availability.
Instructors MUST report students that have been missing multiple classes.
Audit Policy
Any student auditing a class is expected to attend classes as arranged by the
instructor, to be timely in their attendance, to avoid disrupting the class by
coming in during the middle of a class, and to participate in all course activities.
Testing and grading services will not be offered. The person will be kept on the
Moodle enrollment to monitor attendance.
Supplies must be purchased (if applicable) for them to participate and the instructor
must be paid for said supplies. An auditor is not permitted to take an advanced
placement examination or credit examination on work audited (if applicable). Any
auditor who is unable to comply with these requirements may be asked to leave the
class and pay the drop fee. An audit form can be obtained in the office at the Quest
desk
