What are Stocks?
Stock - Shares of a publicly traded company which signifies ownership and claims
a percentage of its assets and profits
Shareholders or investors are people who own stock in a company
Usually investors are minority owners meaning they own less than 50% of
available shares of a company
If there are 500 shares available in a company and you own 1 share you own
1/500th of said company and are a minority owner
