The way we live our lives matters to God. Our theme this year for our Kingdom Missions Weekend is “Striving Side by Side.” When I read theme verse, the motifs of unity, integrity, and teamwork for the gospel are immediately apparent. God desires that every area of our lives would be lived worthy of the gospel. Are the weight and signi cance of the Good News of Jesus’ sacri cial death, burial, and resurrection for my sins re ected in how I live my life? Redemption must be the theme of MY story and the unifying rally point for OUR story! There is nothing more beautiful and powerful than when believers come together “side by side” to further the gospel. Striving takes effort, energy, and prioritizing, but it’s worth it....Jesus is worth it! We must unite together in our efforts to proclaim the gospel to the world both locally and globally. We come together this weekend to commit to being united in our PRAYING, GIVING, and GOING efforts, striving side by side for the gospel.
