              here might not be a more synonymous name within the Las Ve-
              gas golf community than Las Vegas Golf and Tennis. If you’ve
        Tplayed golf in Las Vegas a lot or even a little over the last five
        decades, you’ve probably bought something golf related from Las Vegas
        Golf and Tennis.

        Founded in 1974 by the legendary Voss Boreta, Las Vegas Golf and
        Tennis not only set the standard in Las Vegas golf retail for many years,
        but was a trendsetter on the national scene with a mail order business
        started from a classified ad Boreta placed in Golf Digest.

        Voss the Boss passed away in 2013 and the shop was operated under
        the direction of his two sons, Ron and John, ever since until they sold
        the franchise in May to Worldwide Golf Shops, which was founded in
        1984 by Craig McCallister with the opening of Golf Mart in San Diego.
        The Boretas continue to operate the Las Vegas Golf Center lighted
        9-hole course and driving range located across from the Town Square.

        McCallister parlayed his one Golf Mart shop into what today is an um-
        brella company with more than 80 locations operating under legendary
        brands such as Roger Dunn Golf Shops, Uinta Golf, Golf Mart, Van’s
        Golf Shops, Edwin Watts’ Golf Shop and Golfer’s Warehouse. Now the
        company is looking to Las Vegas and embraced the opportunity to take
        over a prominent brand such as Las Vegas Golf and Tennis that is lo-
        cated in the heart of Las Vegas at Tropicana and I-15 and minutes from
        the resort corridor and conveniently located for local residents.

        “We are honored to be the ones entrusted with continuing the tradition
        of Las Vegas Golf and Tennis because it has been a staple in the Las
        Vegas golf community for as long as most can remember and we will
        only enhance what they have done,” says Worldwide Golf Shops Vice
        President Benn McCallister and the son of Craig McCallister. “We
        have completed an expansive remodel, added thousands of clubs to the
        inventory, created new, state-of-the-art hitting bays and instilled our
