oyote Springs Golf Club’s course, a Jack
Nicklaus Signature Design, is a hidden
C gem located just 60 miles north of the Las
Vegas Strip. Nicklaus designed Coyote Springs
as a world class course that is sure to impress.
The par-72 course is a challenging 7,471 yard lay-
out with 11 lakes coming into play. Conditions are
immaculate year-round with no overseeding. The
course boasts perennial ryegrass from tee to green
and A-4 bentgrass on the tees.
Many consider The Springs course to be one of
Nicklaus’s finest desert creations ever conceived.
On the course, it’s 18 holes of Nicklaus at his
best, with challenging doglegs left and right (and
sometimes both ways on the same hole!). The
par-72 design stretches out to 7,471 yards from
the tips, so big hitters can let it rip. From the front
tee it’s a manageable 5,288 yards, so all golfers
can give it their best shot.
The course layout at Coyote Springs rolls beau-
tifully through desert surroundings like it was
dropped from the sky. And when we say roll, we
mean it. There are very few level lies anywhere
on this golf course, and the magnificent fairways
are as undulating as the large greens.
Coyote Springs Golf Club hosts one of the finest
practice facilities in all of Nevada, covering more
than 20 acres and designed to give players a prac-
tice look at every possible angle presented on the
course. In addition, the practice facility features
13 target greens. There’s a short-game green,
chipping and bunker practice areas as well as a
practice putting green that stretches over 10,000
square feet with plenty of room to work in some
time on the short game.
