New Dates!

n our last issue, we introduced you to the Lake Las
Vegas Golf & Food Festival, which was to be held
in May of this year. In response to Covid-19, this
event has now been pushed back twice, so all can
I thoroughly enjoy. The new date is Labor
Day weekend, September 4 thru 6,
2020. So remark your calendars and come enjoy a
celebration of everything that makes Lake Las Vegas
great—golf, food, drinks, music and dancing, and so
much more.
The Visit Henderson Lake Las Vegas Golf & Food
Festival takes place over several days on Labor Day
weekend in 2020 and truly has something for everyone.
You can choose to participate in every element of the
weekend or pick and choose—it is not an all-or-nothing
experience. Participate in the golf tournament with a
qualifying round at Reflection Bay Golf Club and finals
round at SouthShore Country Club. A Dine Around will
tour you around the community with several stops for
music, cuisine, and drinks.
The highlight of the weekend is the Culinary Feast.
This fun-filled night features some of the top chefs in
Las Vegas, wine tastings, whiskey tastings, a silent auc-
tion for charity, and one of Vegas’ top dance bands.
This is your chance to enjoy amazing cuisine from over
10 booths, prepared by local chefs. Complimentary
beer and wine will be served to guests throughout the
evening (cocktails are additional). If you purchase a VIP
Experience, then you can enjoy an open bar through-
out the night and additional seating/lounge and food
options. As you enjoy the great food and drink, don’t
forget to hit the dance floor!

Entertainment for the night will be Zowie Bowie, a fan-
tastic local band that will keep the dance floor packed
all night. Zowie Bowie has fast become one of the most
well-known acts in Las Vegas, bringing a unique blend
of today’s hottest dance, hip-hop, Top 40 and classic Las
