bacon, caramelized onions and lemon butter. Uptown Del’s Potato is a
huge affair with melted fontina, chives and shaved truffle. Other sides
to ponder include charred octopus, a classic Caesar salad or a cup of
lobster bisque.

Dessert finished my meal—a large piece of butter cake with butter pecan
ice cream, fresh whipped cream and caramel sauce. It had a nice crunch
on the outside and a soft flavorful middle.

You won’t want to miss their signature cocktail, “The VIP.” It is simply
mixed Svedka Clementine Vodka and fruit, but there is a secret to it. Pine-
apple is immersed in the vodka for over two weeks. It has a smooth, de-
lightful taste. Have Wine Director Anthony Ramirez talk to you about the
1,300-selection wine list featuring many Napa Valley varietals and more.

There are two sections to the restaurant, the main dining area and a back
part with several private dining rooms available for parties up to 100 or
more. An intimate dining space inside the wine cellar might appeal for
business functions. An outdoor patio spot is also available. Cigar fans
can relax in a special lounge area and enjoy a sampling from a long list.

You won’t want to miss the James Bond table. A staff member pushes a
button and the top opens. Circling the vessel are 18 custom-made wine
bottles representing the first 18 James Bond films. It’s fun to take a few
minutes to savor while enjoying the theme song from each film.

The 3rd Annual Audi Henderson Lake Las Vegas Classic food tasting
event is coming Saturday, November 2, and Del Frisco’s will supply dessert
items. If they are anything like the butter cake, they will be spectacular.
