What a Christian Believes

the firstfruits of those who have died.' Christ is the first to
be resurrected, the first of many.

How many? Paul explains how men first lost eternal life,
when Adam sinned and how it was restored to men through
Christ. v22 'For as in Adam all die, even so in Christ all
                shall be made alive.'

At this point Paul shows the order in which this begins to
happen v23 'But each one in his own order, Christ the
firstfruits, afterwards those who are Christ's at his
                coming.'

Later, the Bible speaks of those who are resurrected who are
not Christ's, and shows that there is a distinction. Hebrews
9 v27 'Just as man was destined to die once, and after
that to face judgement, so Christ was sacrificed once to
take away the sins of many people.'

All shall be raised up for the judgement of their sins, but
some, many infact, will be spared it, because for them Christ
                has taken away their sins.

Through Christ all mankind will be resurrected, some for
a glorious life with Christ and some for judgement.

ETERNAL JUDGEMENT will be looked at in the next part of
                this study.

Most of the study, before this section, has been about what
the Lord has done to bring change to men and women now,
to rescue from sin, to give a new spiritual life, to empower
                christians to serve Him.

In the section about Salvation it was seen in 1John 3 v2
'Dear friends, now we are children of God and what we
