‘Playboy’ neighbor hits market
A local consultant and philanthropist is asking $7.85
million for a five-bedroom home next to the former
Playboy Mansion in the Gold Coast. The 9,000-square-
foot four-level home on State Parkway was built in 1914
and was recently renovated with an elevator, finished
lower level, two-car garage and top-floor garden room
opening to a large east-facing terrace, said listing agent
Janet Owen of Prudential Rubloff Properties. Records
show Deborah A. Bricker paid about $2.9 million in 1999
for the home. Ms. Owen, who did not know renovation
costs, said her client is spending more time in Florida.
Ms. Bricker, of Bricker Partners LLC, referred questions
to her broker.
