can be accessed are through awareness. We will use the analogy of food once
again. Most of what you discard can be recycled into fresh produce. We said
about the cells of the dead form being recycled into a new form. Sometimes
the cells of the human form can be recycled to provide form for future
generations, new life can be breathed into them. Think of the story of Adam
and Eve, the story of the creation of humankind, God took some soil and
breathed life into it. Think of the potter who takes some clay and gives it new
and mostly useful form. All are in their own right creators of some form. What
have you created in your lifetime? Was it created through love, to love? You
will no doubt remember contributions you have made to society through
‘love’, but how often these contributions will have been through a sense of
duty and not through love. Do you have a social conscience? Think how often
this conscience clashes with you instinct, with your inner feelings, “I know I
shouldn’t be doing this but…”. Social conscience is not there for guidance, it
instructs. It is but an excuse for conforming to the pattern society demands of
you. Religious conscience is similarly used to manipulate your ego into
supporting the religion. Social conscience is used to manipulate your ego into
supporting society. Spirit doesn’t have a conscience, it pure love and can never
do wrong. Spirit can never be manipulated therefore by either society or
religion, though these latter still try to do so. This is why we stress the
necessity of God consciousness. If you have God consciousness you will often
find yourself in conflict with what are the accepted social and religious norms.
This is one of the dilemmas presented to the evolving human and it’s evolving
Spirit, the dilemma created by the conflict of unaware ego and the aware
Spirit.
