More on God.
If we can begin to understand what God is rather
than who God is, then we can begin to understand what
we are rather than who we are; a being without an ego, a
spirit, a part of God. A being can live without a human
but a human cannot live without a being. Being human
is just a form, an expression of an ego that has limited
existence and magnitude. The human form is dependent
on the whims of a Spirit to give it animation and
direction. When that form develops a personality and
seeks a life not in interdependency with the Spirit it
develops an ego which to some extent can be called its
own anti-Christ. The dependency the Spirit has on the
human form is that need to access the world of matter.
The human form is controlled by desires. The Spirit
triggers these desires to direct the human form. When the
human becomes addicted to desires the Spirit cannot
exercise control and the human becomes subservient to its
