Philosophy 2.

“Philosophy is personally individual. The awareness

of another’s philosophy should only permit you to expand and
individualise your own personal philosophy.”

We can study philosophy and see how the ancients
saw life. We can see that at a certain time it was acceptable to
live to certain principles. How appropriate is it to still live by

these principles in this age we now exist in? How appropriate is
it for you to apply another’s outdated philosophy to your life?
How appropriate is it for you to assume the philosophy of

another culture applying it over your own more relevant
culture? Many of these philosophies we revere are now only
part of history and useful only for intellectual battles providing

no basis for our spiritual evolvement.
Those who are interested in philosophy might be

horrified that I should dismiss their favourite subject so
callously. I apologise if it is felt I insult their intelligence. I do
not wish to do that. I also do not wish that the spiritual

evolvement of the spirit of humankind should be in any way
curtailed by discussions on what is no longer applicable. Yes

explore what our ancestors have left for us. Yes, apply and
assimilate what is there for us to know. Shed what is irrelevant
