anything to give you fear, rather we will reassure you and you
will accept what we give you. Enjoy the gifts we give you, put
them to good use and everybody will benefit.”
Then E.B. wrote to me referring to the member who had asked
these questions, “I did not intend to upset them. Please tell
them I’m sorry. I only wanted to demonstrate their own
confidence in themselves, in their belief, in their trust in me. I
showed them normally unpleasant pictures but hoped they
would realise that I would protect them. They didn’t call me
to protect them as I hoped they would but even then the
pictures did not prevent them from seeking the peace of sleep.
They had no nightmares as they would normally have
experienced had they been affected by these nasty visions.
Tell them to meditate again and I will ensure that a
recurrence doesn’t take place, but they must admit sincerely
their trust in me. They must overrule that stupid
consciousness of theirs and admit to facts they
subconsciously know to be true.”
