Yes, I await you. Forgiveness is not for God to administer as
you yourself are your only judge. If you, in all sincerity, do
forgive yourself then you are forgiven but that is not to say
you don’t are have not paid the price, as in the analogy, a
child spills milk – the mother forgives the child but the
damage has been done, the milk is lost and the chills still has
to draw more. So in effect the child has to labour longer so as
to right the wrong that has been done and thereby pays the
price.
To be strict with oneself does not necessarily mean that one
refuses to forgive oneself, only that they want to instil in
themselves the lesson they have learnt. To live with oneself is
perhaps the hardest task of all. If you do not try to know
yourself, to realise when you have done a wrong that you feel
needs forgiveness is one major step, but to be strict on
yourself as a consequence of realising that wrong has been
done is an even greater step forward. In essence you are
admitting to have had the knowledge and yet you went
against yourself.
To go through life without the seeking and using the
knowledge is to go to sea without a sail, you get nowhere.
You are independent always unless you relinquish that
independence to us to help you to God. We do not like man to
be dependent on us for that basic function of his existence as
he is admitting defeat in that he cannot realise himself, thus
loosing much of the benefit he sought to gain from his
