succeeded in finding some solace and some didn’t. Those that
found something that would be of assistance to them glorified the
person of Jesus and those that didn’t find what they expected
condemned him. The difficulty with appearing as a saviour is that
the expectations of those who seek to be saved have to be
satisfied. These expectations are such that there can be no saving.
If these expectations were acceptable then salvation would
already have taken place. If salvation hadn’t taken place then the
expectations were not accurate and whether Jesus or God were to
make them true then the expectations could not be right, and that
the assumption that there was positive Divine intervention would
have been an illusion created in the ignorance of the needy. You
are warned of false prophets and we would also like to add the
awareness of false devotees. Many rally around the man called
Jesus so that their belonging to this group will guarantee them
salvation. They do not question and personalise the truth of their
position and in this way give into a blind faith usually through the
fear of loosing the position of belonging. They are afraid of being
outside. They become the false devotee. The one they revere as
the prophet cannot control this state of that being. The deified
teacher can only continue to teach. They must be aware all the
time of the position they hold and not think that because they help
others become aware that they are something special. Others may
seek to put them on a pedestal. That is where those people will
see them. The teacher must keep their feet always on the ground
and know that. This in time will allow the misguided to see the
folly of their own ignorance and to reassess their beliefs, hopefully
finding the truth. Unfortunately the ignorance is such that the
false devotee does not realise the responsibility they have to
themselves and that all that is happening in life is for their good
