that you engage in after reading these words be aware of the
reason that you sit. In general meditation the purpose is for self-
enlightenment, be enlightened. Leave the time for work to its time.
Sit not for development, sit to evolve, sit to evolve spiritually.
There is no time for experimenting so as to have that which no
other has. What purpose would that achieve on a long term basis,
a long term like eternity? Having succeeded in achieving that
which you sought it would be only a matter of one other reaching
the same goal, then its uniqueness has been lost. That would be no
achievement, if after such a short space of time your joy was lost.

No, seek not in that fashion, for the joy of spiritual
achievement is in the sharing with others the pleasure of all
having attained the same goals. There is no competition for there
is space for all and time for all. One must realise the enormity of
Spirit for it can encompass all and still have room left for itself,
think of how large that must be for surely this is a description of
God, a description of our purpose, a description of the very
essence of ourselves, to be part of that described.

There is no need to sit in meditation seeking to develop
one or many of the abilities of Spirit for that is a natural process
and requires no understanding as to how this should happen. All
that is required is the fundamental understanding of Spirit. That
